About Us
Every Civil Air Patrol cadet knows that there is only one way to wear the uniform, the right way. Hudson Nuttall (left) and Daniel Vermillion (right) both joined CAP as cadets in 2018. They, like every cadet, found every little tip and hack to build their uniforms better and easier. However, some features on the uniform like insignia, pose more difficulty than others, especially for new cadets. Hudson and Daniel used their engineering skills to solve this problem by 3d printing a device that could measure insignia placement to the thousandth of an inch and is as easy to use with Cadet Airman insignia as with Cadet Chief Master Sergeant insignia. They kept improving on each other's designs so that the device can also be used for badges, flight cap devices, the wing patch, and the name plate on the female blues uniform. Now they're excited to share their patent pending device with everyone and they hope that you'll find a design you like or request a design for your next CAP cadet activity!
